Aerial footage
A drone does two different jobs with little in common. The first is image: a flight that shows a site, a plot or a building’s relation to its surroundings in a single shot. The second is documentation: photographs of a roof, a façade or a solar array at a resolution that allows the condition to be judged — unretouched and without colour grading, because here editing the image would mean distorting the evidence.
What we deliver
- Aerial photographs of the building and its surroundings at several heights
- Aerial video of a site, operation or construction in 4K
- Approach and departure moves usable as a video’s opening and close
- Shots showing the plot, the access road and the relation to surroundings
- Photographic documentation of roofs, façades and hard-to-reach places
- A regular grid of overlapping frames for assessing the whole
- Construction progress documented from repeated positions
- Footage matched in colour to the ground-level shoot
- Flight permissions and arrangements with the site operator
Who delivers it within the group
This service is led by OMNIA PRODUCTION. You contract with that company and it invoices you — OMNIA GROUP is a brand umbrella, not an entity you could contract with.
Permissions come before the date
Over most cities, near airports and above crowds, flying requires consent — and obtaining it takes days to weeks. An agreed shooting date without the permission in hand is therefore a date that will move.
So every brief starts with checking which zone the location sits in and what is possible there. At events, flights also stay clear of the area above the audience, and the route is agreed with the organiser in advance.
Documentation must not be improved
On inspection flights the output is evidence for assessment, not an image. Raised contrast or sharpening can hide a crack as easily as reveal it — and an assessment based on an edited frame is worthless.
So frames are delivered at original resolution, unretouched and ungraded, in a regular overlapping grid. When construction is documented repeatedly, the flights repeat the same positions so the periods can be compared.
Frequently asked
- What if the weather is unsuitable on the day?
- The flight moves. Wind above a certain speed and precipitation make flying impossible, and under low cloud the footage would be unusable anyway. For date-bound briefs a reserve day is agreed in advance.
- Can drone work be combined with a normal shoot?
- Yes, and it is the usual case: the aerial move opens a corporate video, the ground footage carries the content. The material is colour-matched in post so that the cut between camera and drone does not show.
